Freya read English Literature and Linguistic Science at the University of York before working for several years as a TV presenter on Sky. Her first taste of acting came in 2005, playing Prince Charles' girlfriend in the ITV drama, 'Whatever Love Means'.
Freya made the full transition from presenting to acting in 2009, having trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, and has since appeared in several films and TV commercials.
Her most recent venture has seen Freya train as a Meisner actor; she is on the intensive actor's training course at The Actors Temple in London. Deeply rooted in the principles of acting taught by Sanford Meisner, their specific technique deals directly with getting actors to work in the most truthful way possible, and ultimately to 'live truthfully in imaginary circumstances'.
